Stine Gam-Pedersen, 30, and Enrico Fratesi, 27, have certainly made use of their different nationalities in the three stylish Luisa stools. Enrico Fratesi would hardly have found it strange if his grandmother wrapped her furniture in a plastic cover. Most elderly ladies in Italy do that to prevent it from getting dirty and worn. Stine Gam-Pedersen, however, who is Danish through and through, found these covers strange when she visited Pesaro. And that was the start of the idea for the couple's stools in two layers of transparent hard acrylic which traps a layer of otherwise soft felt.
