TREND: Hot Corset Details. Maybe it's the Marie Antoinette fever, or maybe it's an unconscious rebelling against the subdued fall look, but corsets are showing up in the most unexpected places.
The Next Big Thing: Raveur Clothing. My latest obsession is Asian designers and my newest find is South Korea's Raveur label. Talk about hot. These clothes are gorgeous. The are ladylike, without being stiff, and have this season's trends down pat... even from halfway around the world!
FOUND: '70s Style Belted Turtlenecks. I love the sleek look of a fitted turtleneck set off by a waist-defining self belt. I can imaging Farrah Fawcett pairing one with tight-fitting flared jeans and a "feathered" hair-do. Me, I'll stick to dark denim for the weekends or well-cut trousers for the work week
The Next Big Thing: Puch Clothing. I'm obsessed with finding the next big thing and my latest find is South Korea's Puch label. Their designs are modern and each piece includes interesting details that set it apart. While Puch makes a whole range of fashions, from basic denim and tees to work appropriate dresses and separates, it's their knitwear and coats that are the standouts.
TREND: Cowl Necks Get Their Sexy Back. Cowl neck sweaters circa winter 2006 are sleek, trendy, and dare I say a little bit sexy. They are the perfect way to show a little flash of skin while still taking part in the winter super-covered-up knitwear trend.
TREND: Charmed, I'm Sure. As hard as I try, I just can't get over my obsession with charm bracelets. They are so hot right now that I can't turn a corner without running into another one to love.
TREND: Fur Trim Pumps. We've always had fur trim boots to keep us warm on chilly winter days, but these days fur trim has been showing up on less traditional footwear and the look and feel is totally different. Fur trim boots look warm and cozy; fur trim pumps look upscale and luxe. Viva la difference!
