Ramiro is born 1974 in Bolivia and Ulrike is born 1978 in East Germany. Where are you based now? Ulrike and Ramiro moved to Berlin for studies. MIROÏKE is now based in east central Berlin. What's your educational background? Technically talented Ramiro studied at the University of Arts in Berlin. Art orientated Ulrike studied at the University of Arts in Bremen and Berlin. Both met together in the class of Vivienne Westwood. Their graduation collection (2002) was high graded for perfect design and smart styling of sock-shoes. Since assisting for Prêt-à-porter to Vivienne Westwood's Gold Label collection or Darja Richter's shoes, Ramiro and Ulrike kept on working as a designer duo for the start of their own label.
