Bright blue angora & wool blend 1950's beaded cardigan sweater with white glass beads. The royal blue lambswool and angora blend of this 1950's cardigan is lavishly decorated with iridescent white sequins and off-white pearls. Like many of the beaded sweaters of this era, it was made in Hong Kong. The beaded design is flowers and leaves alternating down the front of the sweater and around the back of the neck, with one leaf design on each sleeve and scattered sequins over the rest of the front. The sweater closes in front with hooks and eyes, and is lined with dark blue silk (except for the three-quarter-length sleeves, which are unlined). This beautiful cardigan is in excellent to near mint condition. Bust: 40-42" (measures 42" flat, without stretching) Waist: 32-34" (with gentle stretching) Length: 19" Shoulder to shoulder: around 16" Sleeve length: 18"

Early 1960's salmon cashmere cardigan & matching wool skirt set. The cardigan is Dalton cashmere, super soft, with wonderful embroidered appliqués on the front, back, sleeves and collar. The sweater is fitted, with a wide waistband, and three-quarter sleeves. It is unlined, and missing its bottom button. The skirt is salmon wool, with great "triangular" stitching at the bottom of each dart. The double-pleated waistband is a unique design element. Made of cherry red leather, these early 1950's wedge heel, peep-toe sandals will add a burst of color to all your spring and summer outfits. The 2.5" high wedge heels will be comfortable to wear, and to dance in! The leather soles are in nice, gently worn condition, and the insoles, buckles and straps are in great shape. One small scuff on the front edge of the left toe just above the sole is the only, barely noticeable, imperfection. These cute and colorful sandals are in excellent condition.
