This mobile is composed of bamboo veneer, metal hardware and clear monofilament. Each part consists of layers of veneer molded and laminated into gentle curves. The use of bamboo is a step towards sustainability, as it is a rapidly renewable resource. Mobile elements are finished with a non-toxic natural oil finish and are intended for interior installation only. Rift was exhibited at the 2006 HauteGREEN exhibition in Brooklyn - a showcase of sustainable products.
