This nice dress is a 50/50 cotton blend easy care fabric made in the style of the 1950's rockabilly dresses but it is a 1980's dress. The waist is elastic and the skirt is circle full, shown with a crinoline. The dolman style sleeves are 3/4 length and cuffed. The bodice buttons up the front. Charming vintage late 1940’s day dress by Sorority is perfect for the heat of summer. This dress is fashioned from a lightweight cotton dimity in white with woven-in pink and green roses in stripes. You’ll probably want to wear a slip with this dress. Vertical tucks are sewn into the fabric on either side of the button front. This gives visual interest to the dress, and a bit of fullness to the skirt below the hips where the tucks stop. The dress closes from collar to hem with self-fabric buttons.
