Mad Men meets Marshall Field's on this fabulous circa 1960's green striped men's travel dressing gown or robe. The stripes look just like the classic (and much missed!) greens of the old Field's, and the robe does in fact have a Marshall Field & Company label. It comes with a matching, plastic lined (water-proof), zip carrying case. The sash belt snaps on, so no worries about losing it, or having it fall off in an embarrassing encounter in the train corridor . . . The robe has three patch pockets and is unlined. The fabric feels like possibly a blend of cotton and rayon, lightweight with slubs like silk shantung. The robe appears to be unused, in excellent to mint condition. The pouch is marked with a "S" label, so the robe will probably fit best on a women's size S-M or a men's size S. The full skirt is accented with a large circular pocket at the right side that has a teardrop opening in the center. The dress bodice, pocket, and bolero are all accented with appliqued pink flowers. A darling cocktail mini from the mid 1960's, this peach shantung and organza dress is youthful, feminine and nicely made! The peach shantung fabric of the bodice has curving seams over the bust area and the skirt is short and flares out in an A-line shape to the hem. The sheer organza bell sleeves have daisy-shaped crochet-looking flowers scattered over them. In back, the dress closes with a row of covered buttons above the empire-waist seam and a zipper below it. The dress has a wide, 3-inch hem, that appears to be original, but could be let down if the length is too "mini".
