Anatomicfactory’s objects meet Bombo’s illustrations, giving us food for thought on the ambiguity of products that often have a hidden second nature. “Milk Gone Bad” is a collection of eight lamps somewhere between toys and furnishing complements. Made like milk cartons, each piece is one of a series. The light turns on to show the product’s real contents, a startling imaginary world of mold.

The latest collection by one of my favourite new designers, Samantha Cole, is an equally a visual surrealist treat as her previous collection. Entitled “Warrior”, the new collection displays Cole’s mastery of blending fashion with art and sculpture, a talent that see’s her create some truly original silhouettes. What is particularly striking about Cole’s work though is her ability to craft unusual structured forms, which on paper shouldn’t translate to wearability, but in reality are figure flatteringly so.

Origin: Italy "Mercury with Caduceus" Bronze sculpture (measuring 61 inches high) was originally executed by Gian Bologna (1524 - 1608) circa 1560 and is currently at the National Gallery in Florence, Italy. This reproduction dates from the XIX century and it comes from the workshop of celebrated bronze founder, Benedetto Boschetti. Mr. Boschetti established his shop in Rome at Via Condotti #74 around 1820 and he remained active until his death in 1870.
