I got a chance to meet up with Faythe Levine at the Renegade Craft Fair yesterday. Faythe is a hero in my book, as well as Micaela. Faythe is the Director for the upcoming indie documentary Handmade Nation You can watch a clip of the film on YouTube
In 2006 Micaela OHerlihy & Faythe started what became a 19,000 mile journey to document what is being called the New Wave of Craft. Handmade Nation will be screening sneak previews from their film and they are selling items on their Etsy shop to help fund the project.
