I know it is better to buy stuff, but perchance it is also better to dream. These are in the hundreds & thousands now &, even if the market has dropped a minor magnitude due to the New Depression, they'll hold their value. & the more unusual Ossies are not even that easy to see, much less own, so herew/ is one of them, again from the Met's Costume Institute, one of the best fashion resources, online or IRL.

1970s Radley crepe dress designed with a strong 1940s influence. The main body of the bias cut dress is deep blue and features sleeves that almost reach the elbow and lightly puffed shoulders. The neckline is open and framed with a cream overlay placket which falls in loose folds to show a pale pink satin backing and is finished with two little pale pink satin roses. It fastens up the back with a zip. Unusual cotton day dress comprised of sections of polka dot printed red and white panels. The front chest panel is white with red polka dots in a shirt style and has a curved bottom. The actual collar and revere are red with white polka dots as is the main body of the dress, which sits in a slight a-line and falls to the knee. It has a flattering cut out shape under the arms and the back is darted with a tie detail to enhance the silhouette. 1970s summer dress by Radley in a bright red crinkled cheesecloth fabric. The dress is loose fitting with thin spaghetti straps that tie into little bows on the shoulder. The skirt falls below the knee and has a lace inset strip and trim on the bottom. There is an attractive extra tier of fabric that falls over the bust with a lace trim.
