This is part of my Color on Copper series. This flower was handcut out of a sheet of sterling silver and then sanded and polished to a high shine. The center blooms with a circle of copper which has been colored with layers of Prismacolor pencils until a rich depth is achieved. The color is sealed and then the circle is attached with a brass screw. The pendant measures approximately 1" in diameter and is strung on a 16" sterling silver chain.
