I got a wonderful email from Cheri and Theresa of Lola&Bailey and had to post their graphic jewelry. The collections are based on a fictional couple, Lola and Bailey, and are designed to capture the various stages of their romance. Cute concept. Each piece is made of layers of acrylic and are hand riveted together with sterling silver rivets on silk strands with a magnetic clasp. They will be showing at Sydney Fashion Week very shortly. All you Aussies, keep your eyes out!

Clicking through Apartment Therapy today, I saw that my fave Eva Zeisel (Who celebrated her 100th birthday last November!) has just designed a coffee table for DWR. Classic Eva Zeisel Love those flourished forms. I wish I had an extra $1,500 around since itd complement my Zeisel/KleinReid print beautifully.

Saw the Lover Spring/Summer 2007 collection via Joy and loved it all. Im really loving the idea of super short dresses for the spring. So adorable with short stacked wedges or flats. Going through the site is a treat, as always.

Um guys? Can we talk about Bottega Veneta for a minute? Like about how awesome they are? Seriously, people. I flipped through their latest catalog and wanted one of everything. (Yes, I am aware the prices are very much reflecting an extremely luxe product but please let me freak out about them right now.) The current ad campaign is absolutely gorgeous (featuring one of my favorite models, Inguna Butane.) with muted color and gorgeous photography. The spring collection is absolutely heavenly, lots of dresses, great fabrics, great drape, great textures. The handbags are, as usual phenomenal. Such soft looking leathers and other exotic skins, great form. Plus, amazing jewelry featuring some really beautiful materials. I love the stained glass-looking necklaces. In total love right now.

I know, I know, I should just start an entire new category devoted just to Rachel Roy. I shall resist. I shall, however, share with you the pre-fall 2007 collection that is now available for view on her site. (Along with Pre-Spring 2008 my, my Ms. Roy youve been a busy girl.) I cant deal with looking at next springs clothes right now but I am feeling kind of sheepish to admit I am already thinking about the fall. I am newly obsessed with dresses and the dresses shown for Rachel Roys Pre-Fall are kind of perfect. My favorite from the selects above is the Karolina Trench. A girl can dream

Caught the preview for this falls Targets GO! International line by East-West (Coast) design house Libertine on Target.com. Its a mix of shorts and long sleeved tops, lean jeans and lots of stripes and great pattern (look at that cornucopia printed blouse!). While it isnt nearly as grand as the Libertine were used to seeing, theres some interesting wearable stuff obviously designed with mass-market in mind They have definitely kept their signature style with skull patterns in sweaters and great silkscreened bits on the shorts and tees and blouses. Im loving the shirt dress and that ruffle-neck jacket. Also the Lace Bolero (Look 2) and all of Look 16 (not shown above there were just too many to choose from!) Be sure to check out Patrick Robinsons GO! International line when it rolls out this Sunday, May 6th!

Loved everything at Kara Janx her clothes are consistently so comfortable-looking. The convertible skirt shown on the left up there is utter genius its one size fits all and can be worn as a high waisted skirt (as shown) as a super short dress or a regular-waisted knee-length skirt. Three of this seasons trends in one piece! The silk dress on the right is gorgeous and comes in great color ways and different lengths. Simple and lovely stuff.

Swooooon. Ted Muehling. Ohhhhh Ted Muehling. I saw his gorgeous tabletop designs in last years Feeding Desire exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt (and in the museums shop) and then came across these photos for them on E.R. Butler. Everything he does is so graceful and is inspired by the graceful forms of rocks, shells, eggs and insects. Absolutely stunning. For those of you in New York, his store is downtown on Howard Street.

After two months of work, the Wooster Collectives 11 Spring Street project opens to the public today at 11am featuring artwork from the best street artists in the world including Shepard Fairey, Swoon, WK, and Lady Pink. 11 Spring Street, a former carriage house, has been over the years a revolving showcase of street artists from both New York and the world. The building was recently sold to make way for new condominiums and many thought the sale would mark the end of the progression of the ever-changing urban canvas. The new owners, development group Elias Cummings, wished to give proper tribute to the art and artists that graced the walls of the building and contacted the established Wooster Collective to help organize a proper farewell. The Collective in turn invited the best street artists in the world to come and mark the walls on the interior and exterior for one last time.

My co-worker Stephanie brought this amazing book into work to show everyone and we all absolutely fell in love with it. Titled This Little Piggy Went To Prada, its a collection of nursery rhymes by Amy Allen tweaked for the Blahnik-wearing mommy set. Illustrated with stunning watercolor by Eun-kyung Kang and hardcover bound in hot pink linen, the book is totally adorable and fun to read. Definitely buying a copy on Amazon. (Bonus: portion of the proceeds of copies bought in the UK go to Save The Children and portion of the proceeds of copies in Singapore go to Action for AIDS Pregnant Mothers Fund.)

Although I am totally feeling the Jessica Kagan Cushman bangles I posted a few weeks ago, these Anthropologie A-to-Z Bangles are a worthy alternative. While Cushmans are fossilized mammoth tusk, Anthros are paper wrapped wood. Plus, theyre on sale now for $19.99 each down from $38. Snatch em up while you can get em. (via FabSugar)

God, Cecilia Carlstedts work is so gorgeous. Amazing texture and color. I love how imagery is subtly incorporated into the overall composition. Not to mention that the above isnt even close to indicting the feel of her work. So many pieces in the portfolio, its inspiring to go through it all. A beautiful body of work.
