The word Luddite refers to a movement in the early nineteenth century by a group of British textile artists who protested the changes brought to their industry by the Industrial Revolution. Often the group destroyed mechanical looms, which they felt were taking work away from themselves. Subsequently, the word Luddite has come to mean someone who is against technology and prefers to do things the old fashioned way.
In an age of technological overload, the items in Thomas Paul's new Luddite Collection, inspired by the notion of turning back the clock and living simpler, delight and inspire us.
Also from the Luddite Collection; the Laptop Sleeve, Phone/PDA Case, MP3 Pouch, Camera Case, Book Pouch, Letter Pouch, Cosmetics Bag, Eyeglass Pouch, Tobacco Pouch, Pencil Case and the Suitcase Tote.
