How about your forehead? Art student Ryan McSorley thinks so. In his final project for a product design class at Central Saint Martins, Ryan created Skin by Chanel, a collection of skincare standbys including a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, but with an unexpected addition: There's also a headband that imprints the double C's on your forehead, cheek, or facial surface of choice. If his prediction about the future of extreme branding ever comes true, people won't have to ask you what moisturizer you're using—the answer will be written on your face. (Notcot)

Every web bubble need its chair. It’s a new bubble and web 2.0 is more eco conscious ~ and the chair to have is now the Steelcase Think! (it’s 99% recyclable) Round one had the Aeron Chair (and proof that their time has passed is the number of them you can find on SFC Craigslist being liquidated at any given time).

They’ve been grabbing my attention in every magazine lately with these illustration heavy images… (remember NotCouture #1478?) and while i’m still debating and mixed on the illustration on leather bag concept, i’m still loving the illustrations! So while checking out all of the Spring/Summer 08 collections and campaign, i couldn’t help but share this incredible (HUGE like 7000x600) wallpaper they have. I’ve never actually craved a fire extinguisher before, and suddenly i find myself here wanting one for the car, desk, kitchen, friend’s house, sidewalk… everywhere basically, b/c as a design object even, this Pinqy extinguisher is ADORABLE. At a mere 14cm tall, apparently it can put out the starts of fires… turning every man, or even girl, into an “ordinary fire man” as the videos say. And this one is by far the best. This looks like what happens when you cross fire extinguisher, a grenade, and a designer. Saw this at Core77, and its been stuck in my head since. http://www.pinqy.co.uk/

there is something so playful, yet purchasable about Theo Fennell’s silver for condiments… from Heinz sleeves and caps, to Marmite caps… even a redbull sleeve! And my personal fave the Haagen Daz sleeve! (as well as others, as can been see in the pics and the site).
