Gives new meaning to "on the rocks!" Simple and original drinking glass - it´s curved bottom prevents the glass from falling over - also suitable as a decorative accessory Britt Bonnesen, self-taught designer and part of Normann Copenhagen. Britt conceived the idea of the rocking glass after watching an old film about propeller aircraft. These antique aircraft produced a lot of vibration, so the glasses and tableware used on board were designed not to spill - and that's how the idea of the rocking glass arose.

Double Bowl is a bowl or vase made of two mouth-blown pieces of glass. The organic shapes and the thick glass unite the aesthetic look with practical use. "Double Bowl" arises from the unique craftsmanship where each bowl is mouth-blown then polished, cut and sandblasted by hand.

The Swing Vase arose in collaboration with a glass company that we already knew. Britt's father worked all his life in a glass workshop, and Britt grew up among the glass-blowers. The shape of the vase arose in a dialogue with local glass-blowers, through which the vase was allowed to determine its own form. The vase was so to speak allowed to "settle down", and the Swing Vase was born. Each Swing Vase is unique; the shape varies from vase to vase, as all of them are mouth-blown. It's a little sculpture that looks fine alone, but really comes into its own in the company of other Swing Vases. Design: Britt Bonnesen Materials: Glass
