Frances Dwyer and Jennifer Amato began their mother-daughter business, Jennalee Handbags in 2003. They are a mother-daughter team, Frances lives in New Orleans, LA and does most of the constructing of the handbags. Jennifer lives in New York City and designs the handbags. The pair sell mostly custom orders, but have recently started selling bags in boutiques such as Oliveaux and online in their Jennalee Handbags Etsy shop. The Ashley Short Sleeve Dress is sure to be a favorite if you are a fan of classic late 1930's and early 1940's fashions. The bodice and sleeves were modeled after a 1937 vintage pattern. The underbust (front and back) is lined and topstitched. The bodice has ruching at the top of the shoulders and is lightly gathered at the underbust line.
