He collected 20 old drawers, keeping them in their original condition he constructed a wooden case for each one and bound them together with a belt. Boris is a chair with L-shapped legs in steel plate. The bowl-shaped seat keeps its shape thanks to the steel frame under it, to which the legs are attached. Because the corners require no reinforcement, the frame can be kept small. This chair was an entry for the Mart Stamprice. Boris was one of eight projects, which appealed the Mart Stamprice jury particularly: We appreciate the elegance of this design.

Lotta Vanlaatum, a Netherlands designer, created this energy saving lamp as a means to resolve both energy and decor issues (matching lamp and shade). 'Watts New' allows the user to easily slide parts and pieces to create their own configuration giving the user a little more freedom of expression.
