This necklace is created from a photo I took of a flower on a beautiful Spring day. The photo was duplicated and placed in a photo frame design, converting 3 photos to negative to make the colorful photo really pop! The front is then coated with a glassy, resin-like material for protection and high shine.

The lovely gem lapis lazuli has some rather poetic lore, having been revered by the Egyptians and thus they named it "the stone of heaven". The vintage silver and lapis Kuchi cross displays true mastery in artisanship. Intricate metal wirework surround the deep blue lapis stones. The chain is a rosary inspired length of sterling silver wire wrapped lapis and vintage Turkish silver. The Turkish beads were handmade with a pierced design and have a lovely patina from age. Ends with a sterling silver hook, vintage extension chain, and vintage sterling silver cross medal.
