Designer Pernille Vea's Terracotta oil lamp combines the best Scandinavian Design traditions with a classic material that never goes out of fashion. Pernille Vea uses terracotta fired at high temperatures. This produces a frostproof material – both an unglazed terracotta that gives a warm glow and a glazed terracotta in charcoal grey. With the new Organic Hurricane, designer Pernille Vea has created a striking candle lamp in the shape of an elongated, rounded stone in two parts, the lower part in charcoal grey terracotta, the upper part in frosted glass beautifully illuminated by the living flame within.
