Aqua Di Lara is the brainchild of award-winning Creative Director, Reyhan Sofraci.
Of Mediterranean origin and raised in London, she moved to Canada to study at the University of Toronto where she earned a Bachelor of Psychology before settling down in Montreal to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer.
With a passion for lingerie and high fashion, Sofraci has a talent for creating daring styles that are masterfully sewn using high-quality European fabrics and production techniques that surpass the standards expected of designer wear.
The young designer was recently named Fashion Designer of the Year (2007) by the prestigious Institut de Design Montréal (IDM) which holds an annual contest where designers from a variety of disciplines compete for the title of best in the industry.
