I made these earrings by wrapping square-shaped green-gold (dyed) freshwater pearls in a herringbone weave with sterling silver wire. I oxidized and polished the sterling silver to give it an antiqued patina. The earrings have handformed sterling silver ear wires, and they measure 1 5/8 inches (4.2cm) in overall length.
