Each dangle of this 11-bead necklace is individually hand built in colored porcelain and mounted on a sterling silver chain. Using a laminating technique, the artist builds a loaf of pattern with various colors of wet clay. She then slices through the layers to reveal distinctive and singular designs. All color and pattern is in the clay itself and the final finish is achieved without the use of glaze. Chain is 16 inches long.
We are thrilled to present the Petal Chair by Stew Design Workshop of Burlington, VT. The chair, used seprately or as a part of a group, is made to resemble a flower, with each chair as a petal. Most of Stew Design furniture is made of laminated plywood. They cut dozens of unique pieces out of plywood, using robotic cutting tools and laminate them together. Each piece is hand finished.
