The standard day bed uses a standard futon size mattress, 21x52". The white cover can be covered with any of the dozens of colors of covers which any futon shop will carry. The back panel is optional, and directional (that is, you need to decide the bed's orientation to tell me how to orient the back.) A backless bed will fit in any spot. The "Reed" design field can also be done in a "Spiral, Twig, or Vine/Tendril" design.

A client once asked me for "three hour chairs." I realized at once what she meant - a long dinner - but then explained that I cannot sit for three hours in an airplane seat, much less a steel one.
