Becky is a recent graduate of the Textile Crafts course at the University of Huddersfield where she specialised in machine knit.
Since graduating I have started to use hand knit and embroidery in my work more and more. This gives me more control over the final look of a piece and helps to create the intricate look of the work that has become a trademark of my style.
I like creating pretty , delicate, almost fragile looking pieces, using different types of beads, wire, ribbon, found materials, buttons, fine yarns and sequins. Every piece I create is unique as the methods I use make it impossible to make exactly the same thing twice, this makes each piece of jewellery or each accessory a piece of art in its own way.
