Joe Futschik, designer and owner of jefdesigns, has released a special edition silkscreen image in honor of his mother who died earlier this year from ovarian cancer. I feel like it is rare for a day to pass by without hearing about someone who has developed or is struggling with cancer. I am sure I could count a good handful or more of my own close friends or family who have fought the disease, and with each person I think it is utterly important to recognize and honor what they have gone through, a celebration in some form that immortalizes their character. Simply stated, I find Joe's tribute to his mother awe inspiring and beautiful. 50% of all sales of the jefdesigns Screen Printed Wood Art Panel- Fritillaria will be donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Legna Lamp 624F Item # 11.24.0.E Light as sculpture. Cool, clean, minimal look. Warm, ambient feel. Fabricated of steel, white acrylic and wood veneer. The legna lamp normally retails at a significantly higher price. This lamp, done in rosewood, is available at a special price because it was produced in limited quantities. These lamps require a Compact Fluroescent Bulb. The artist recommends 6W (softer light) - 25W (maximum). This is comparable to 25W-75W incandescent bulbs.
