The lower strap is edged with leather piping. The upper band (at ankle level) attaches to a padded leather "tube" which in turn loops through the leather back of the shoe. The 1/2" platform is in suede. As far as the 4" stiletto heels go, they are in stacked wood. The black version mixes patent leather with a taupey grey patent leather back; the other version (choose "purple") mixes black elastic with hunter green, red and purple leather.
