Spine Jewel Jacket
This gorgeous jacket is called "spine" because the glittering bead and fabric work running down the front actually resembles a spine, if you look at it closely. However, if you do not like that reference you can rest assured that no one will ever know.
The fabric overlays are taupe, edged with silver beaded threads, dotted with faceted crystals here and there and strung with rows of faux pearls. Despite what sounds very glitzy, the jacket is quite understated and very chic. It has trench style epaulettes and belt style closures at the wrists, and the cut involves a seam at the waist that creates a little peplum effect. The beautiful passamentarie detail down the front hides a snap closure. Lined. In a true khaki tan.
Fabric: 100% cotton
