These delightful collage pendants are made with using vintage paper and illustrations from textbooks, children's books, nature guides, even classroom notes. The pendants are preserved using a coat of glossy resin. Each necklace is strung on a handmade chain, adorned vintage lucite beads from the 40s, 50s and 60s and blackened steel wire finished with a handmade clasp. Did you know that steel wears surprisingly well? As you wear it, the oils in your skin provide a protective coating to the metal which helps to prevent rust (but don't wear it in the shower!) Please note that each piece is totally unique and will vary slightly due to its handmade nature and its use of vintage materials. Approximately 20 inches long.

This necklace is a darkly comic twist on the classic heart-shaped locket. Perfect for doomed romantics and cynics alike, whether dressed down with jeans or up with a little black (what else?) dress. A winged black glass heart forms the striking centerpiece, while two gorgeously kitsch cherubs hover asymmetrically above. The nickel-free chain hangs just below the collarbone and fastens with a chunky toggle clasp.

Giovanna is a fiber artist specializing in the Kumihimo weaving technique. With complex braids, Giovanna creates wearable works of art that are unique in their three-dimensional, organic nature.
