Over the years, the continuous creative collaboration of Talya Baharal and Gene Gnida has had a broad and sweeping influence on each others work. The artistic and personal relationship flamed their innately intense curiosity and attraction for working with new forms, materials and techniques. In 1988, they decided to channel their creative energies together and as a team founded Baharal-Gnida Designs. The confluence of Baharals strong conceptual and design sense and Gnidas creativity with sculptural forms and extensive technical expertise has impacted their individual as well as collaborative efforts and their work has evolved into gallery caliber pieces.

Mcqueeney Pottery Walt and Cynthia Glass created McQueeney Pottery in 1972. Their studio is located on the shore of beautiful Lake McQueeney, Texas. They are both graduates of The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio with degrees in art and teaching. Walt began working with clay in 1968 and Cynthia began shortly after their marriage. John Littleton / Kate Vogel are a husband and wife team that collaborate to make strikingly beautiful sculpture. Nerio and Heidi Festa. Naturally occurring stones, polished smooth by centuries of ocean tides and rivers, are a central element in the couple's designs. The idea of using these varied stones in their work grew out of a trip to Encinitas, a storybook beach in Southern California. They took some stones home, placed them around in their living room and began experimenting with "wrapping" them within rusted steel rods from their workshop and transforming them into functional art. Since then festa &co. has grown to a dozen people who still make one piece at a time with hand-picked stones.

Tom Bloyd and his wife, Julie have created the perfect art glass blowing team. Tom is the lead glass blower and Julie his able assistant. No accomplished glass blower can be successful without a competent assistant he can work in harmony with. Tom Bloyd received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specializing in Glassblowing and Metalsmithing from the University of Kansas in 1992. Immediately after finishing his schooling he started his own studio and has never looked back. He uses the metalsmithing background to create sophisticated stands for his multi tiered fountains and has become equally well regarded for his whimsical multi colored fish. The fish are made with multiple "bits" of glass to the belly that are textured, cut and sculpted.

We are a husband and wife design team and have been working with metal for the past thirteen years. We have had the good fortune to participate in some of the finest juried craft shows over those years. We strongly feel that objects that people interact with daily need to be well designed and functional in addition to being beautiful. Our primary medium is cold finished steel that has been cut, welded, ground and finally coated with a lacquer finish to protect the surface.
