Jose Gandia took inspiration from a popular flower in the 60's, the daisy and created this fun and beautiful 60's Rug. The Rug is manufactured by Gandia Blasco a Spanish Company. It is hand tufted and made of 100 percent wool on cotton backing. It is a very innovative ode to the 60's and would look good in any room. Flowers always brighten up rooms.

Right now, I'm sitting here eating my Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich, watching Flight of the Conchords, submitting sites to my favorite Social Networking websites, all the while my Noguchi Akari lamp is lighting my way...I adore this lamp more than any of my other mid-century modern pieces. John Derian, an avid collector of antique fruit, flower and animal prints, hand-paints borders over centuries-old ledgers and letters. He combines all these elements into charmingly eccentric collages, which are reprinted and pieced together in layers under glass accessories.
