I love Naik Fur, She is one of my favorite designers. Her crocheted pieces are amazing. I own a fabulous halter to that she designed. This is what she says - One of the most creative crochet hats i've ever made by far! This hat is all shades of green wool yarn (not including the gold veins) . as you can see in the pictures, there is more than one way to wear it.

They normally would produce traditional hats and bags made from cornhusk. To earn a living outside of the harvest season these Asian women farmers began to work crocheting for designer Anne-Claire Petit.

Renata Fontenelle is a designer from Recife, a city on the Northeast coast of Brazil. Her first products designed exclusively for the Tiptoe collection employ the traditional skills of lacemaking and crochet which remain popular in this region. But, she uses them in new, more contemporary and elegant ways. The items she designed for Tiptoe will be made by artisans at a cooperative near Recife where some of the poorest people in Brazil are living. And, where possible she will source materials locally and use eco-friendly materials such as the naturally coloured organic cotton that comes from the region. Interestingly the cotton is itself the product of a cooperative of small scale farmers.
