I love these colors. Backed with Admiral Blue ultra suede, this piece is a definite eye-catcher. (I know, because I wore it yesterday 12/31) The main cab was made by a lady who lives in my area and when she gave it to me, it just caused so many pictures to fly through my brain that I just had to follow through. The clasp is a sterling silver slider bar and fits a 17 inch neck with some room. I can't believe how light this piece feels.

I am constantly drawn to these colors. The 18mm Swarovski rivoli is in the Sphinx color from Betcey at Beyond Beadery. The cuff is 1.75 inches by approximately 7.5 inches, stabilized with a brass cuff blank from Dreamweavers. Embroidered onto EZ Felt which can be found at your nearest Hobby Lobby store.

I think Tabac is one of my favorite colors for Swarovski crystals. It's a tan shade with flashes of bronze, light khaki green, and a dusty rose. This bracelet is larger than the others, fitting 7 inches in length and 2 inches in width. Seed beads and pearls surround this lovely crystal.

I've had these raku scarabs for years and finally came up with something that really brings out the different colors of the raku finish. Just over 1.25 inches in width and 7.5 inches in length, this cuff is a really nice mix of greens, coppers, dusty rose, and burgundy. Bead embroidered and finished with a gorgeous pumpkin leather, a copper toggle finishes this cuff.

Lavender has no blank, only Lacy's Stiff Stuff for structure. Backed with soft grey ultrasuede, this cuff is a little over 1.5 inches wide by 7.5 inches and has pearls, firepolished Czech beads, and seed beads.

The Electra finish on this cuff just makes me so energized. Deep emerald greens, forest green, hot pink, and touches of gold, all combine to create such a vibrancy. Backed with purple leather and an electra finish to a flower button as the clasp, this bracelet just makes me gaze at it for long periods of time. Fits a 7.5 inch wrist and is approx 2 inches in width.

This cuff is purely freeform right angle weave. The beads are mixes of black, bronze, gold, hematite and are mixed with pearls of gold and dark peacock. The slider clasp is vermeil. Fits a 7.5 to 8 inch wrist. This bracelet took well over 40 hours to complete and is one of a kind.

I loved working on this one. Each piece of ocean jasper has been bezelled and beaded separately, backed with leather and then joined to bezelled rivoli's using freeform brick stitch. The rivoli's are in the dark Siam color, as are the bicones surrounding the ocean jasper cab. Different colors and sizes of seed beads are used to highlight and accentuate the colors of the cabochons, with Swarovski pearls, keishi pearls, garnets, and fire polished Czech beads embellishing the necklace. Finished with oxidized copper chain, this necklace fits 17.5 to 19.5 inches and took approximately 30 to 35 hours to complete.

I guess I'm finding these colors very soothing. I enjoy looking at them together and finding ways to wear them ;) Ocean jasper cabochons, rivoli's in olivine, Siam, and padparadscha, all combine with similar colors in seed beads worked in a brick stitch technique. The button 'clasp' was made simple because the necklace itself is very busy. It fits my 16 inch neck, loosely, when using the last loop and can be adjusted for a smaller neck with the inner loop. 'Medley' took about 60 hours to complete and the cabs are completely backed with a beautiful leather.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the colors of raku? Dark Siam and Metallic blue Swarovski rivoli's combined with coin and potato pearls, and not to mention raku beads. This necklace fits 20 to 21 inches long.

I am in love with Swarovski stones. How can I not be? They add such vibrancy to what would normally be such low keyed beads. Four fossils - orthoceras - provided by my Mom & Dad, are the focus, as well as one large Swarovski stone with bicones. Vitrail medium rivoli's are combined into the brick-stitch technique, with sterling silver beads. The fossils are backed with black ultra suede and the straps are done with bugle beads in a herringbone pattern. There's about 60 hours put into this piece.
