Madame Bovary people want art that’s as close to indistinguishable from real life as possible; Lion King people (that’s the musical, not the movie) want the artificiality of art highlighted, they want to see the mechanics. The folks at Gus Design Group have created an ottoman that completely satisfies my felt fetish needs: the Jasper Cube Ottoman. There is something about really good felt that just does it for me. I love the durability of the material, the clean lines the fabric creates, and the way it can easily go from informal to formal without having to try too hard. If only people had it that easy!
