Created by master artisans at Seguso Viro, a 600-year-old company on the island of Murano, this glass suite embodies the company's enduring passion for color and form. Beautifully embodying the artists' extraordinary skill and versatility, the vessels are mouthblown in a rainbow of fresh, translucent colors and further embellished with generous complements of bubbles and flecks of shimmering silver leaf. Established in 1396, the family-owned company produces works of such quality and originality that they're exhibited in London's Victoria and Albert Museum, St. Petersburg's Hermitage, and many other prestigious museums. Collectible and functional, the pieces in their Rainbow Collection are bold and dramatic on display or on the tabletop. Food-safe platter. Each piece is unique. A Gump's exclusive. Made in Italy. Hand-wash. Also available at Gump's San Francisco store. Gump's gift box included.

The finished pieces are wrapped in candy paper, just like the real thing. Approximately 1 1/2" sq. x 1"H. Made in the USA. Also available at Gump's San Francisco store.

Afro Celotto "Riscontro". Renowned glass master creates artworks that blend centuries-old methods with a bold, contemporary vision. To create this piece's vibrant, swirling design, he twists together canes of colored glass, then slices and fuses them to create a grid pattern. Next, he blows and shapes the vessel's asymmetrical shape by hand, and etches deep grooves, or inciso, into portions of the surface with a diamond wheel.
