I live and work in Longridge, a small market town near Preston, in Lancashire. I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in May 2005 with a BA (Hons) Degree in Illustration. I design artwork for greetings cards and gifware, and have a keen interest in editorial and conceptual illustration. I also produce original abstract art on canvas, using acrylics and a wide range of media. I have a keen interest in photography and would like to further develop my skills by incorporating photographs into other areas of my artwork. I gather inspiration from the world around me, and many of my ideas are generated through my strong interest in the rock music scene, and my passion for football. Some of my favourite artists and illustrators include Michelle Thompson, Mark Rothko, Simon Pemberton, Shonagh Rae, Jill Calder, Gary Neill, David Shrigley to name but a few...
