A children's film about Mardie (Madicken), a character familiar from Astrid Lindgren’s novels, with its idyllic 1920s setting inspired Samu-Jussi Koski’s new collection. He also drew inspiration from Mia Farrow’s film roles of the 1960s. The overall look of the collection is classically simple and feminine, and perhaps even a little flirty. The collection’s main colours are black, white and grey. Two print patterns add colour; Maija and Kristina Isola’s Pikku-Maria design, and Maija Louekari’s modern Pisaroi. Samu-Jussi Koski has also designed stunning knitted garments in neon pink from a completely new material, namely a soy and angora mix.
