My favourite part was making glamorous costumes for the staff & since there are 4 generations of tailors in my family this was quite natural to me. 8 years ago I took formal training at The London College of Fashion & then worked in various fashion studios & a creative agency called Fresh - who do consultancy for labels such as Katherine Hamnett, Bella Freud, & Kangol before setting up my Strumpets label in 2002 and opening a boutique in Hoxton in 2004.
