For the celebration of the Silversmith's 100th Anniversary, Maria Berntsen has created a elegant new cutlery set. Here we have a new generation of steel cutlery, wherein the importance of volume and shape is married. Maria Berntsen has worked on stretching the steel fabric itself, thereby giving its entire shape a unique suppleness. The cutlery has a consistency, which emits quality and strength and yet gives a sense of softness when being used. The cutlery plays with the modern organic form, yet contrasts against a certain tautness. The soft and inviting curves give an overall tactile aestheticism as it sits in ones hands. The Maria cutlery loyally follows Georg Jensen's tradition that no product lacks in any area, but works as a perfect whole. Just as much effort is spend on every angle and detail. It is art and craftsmanship merged together. Maria is crafted in matte finish 18/8 stainless steel.
