Artist Bio
In 1991, cyclist Graham Bergh got a flat tire and used the flat inner tube to hang his stereo speakers. Intrigued with the notion of reviving discarded bicycle parts, he founded a company based on just that: creating functional products from recycled bike parts and other "rescued" materials.
Just like the grown-ups, the littlest members of the family can have their very own chairs made from recycled aluminum traffic signs. These unique hand-fabricated pieces of furniture are identical to the larger version sold here and fit the average 3-7-year-old comfortably. Easy to clean. Used champagne corks on the feet keep the chairs stable and floors unmarked.
Assembly required. Each chair comes with illustrated instructions, all necessary hardware and an easy-to-use hex wrench. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery.
Chris Gustin's rag rugs are woven from cloth selvedges (an edge of fabric meant to be cut off and discarded) which are collected for her at weaving mills. These unique rugs are a little thicker than most cotton rag rugs and are easy to keep clean. Machine wash on gentle cycle in warm water with a mild detergent. Put in the dryer for five minutes to spin out excess water. Stretch flat on the ground to dry.
