This NOS 1960's soft black suede dress by Lily Bee is elegantly mod, with clean, simple lines. The suede is subtly accented with black topstitching and "japanned" black metal and rhinestone buttons. The dress has a small collar, buttoning down the front to a dropped waist seam at about hip-level. The shape is straight from shoulder to hip, with bust darts. The dress is in great condition! Vibrant orange flowers (with hints of pink, green and white) are blooming all over this 1960's dropped-waist dress with matching scarf. The "flapper" shape with its low waist was all the rage at one point in the 1960's, and the simple lines of this cheery dress are totally 60's-does-20's. Even the removable scarf, draping over the neckline in front and threaded through lucite-buttoned loops at each shoulder to tie and hang low in the back, shows the influence of the 1920's.
