This shoe truly warms my heart. First, because it's a gorgeous paillette shoe, and I love paillettes (sequins). Second, because it's Gucci. My old, favorite label. It's in no way near my favorite label now. When Tom Ford left, the label went quickly downhill in my opinion. Anyway, this shoe is reminiscent of the good old days of fabulous Gucci designs. It's the Gucci Sofia Paillettes Ankle Boots and it has a 4 inch heel. The only thing that could improve this shoe is if the heel was also covered in paillettes. $1,190.

We couldn't even lineup all of the strapless gowns to fit your screen - seen on the 2010 glamorous ladies of the Oscar's. While we could write about which dress was our favorite/what we hated/etc... we're sure there are plenty of blogs doing that for you today. Though the one-shouldered / one-sleeve look is huge for this season and the coming spring trends, is it possible Hollywood stylists didn't want their clients to fall into the 'norm'? DAY ONE in Paris provided one of the most diverting front rows of the shows so far - as Rihanna, appropriately dressed in skintight black, sandwiched herself between Pam Hogg, Michael Stipe and Daphne Guinness at Gareth Pugh. Mario Testino, Rick Owens and US Vogue's Grace Coddington also turned out to watch the Brit deliver a spring/summer 2010 collection of sculptural layered pieces in a tonal grey palette, resplendent with feathered winged headdresses.
