There was a time in my life, about three or four years ago, when I was completely obsessed with James Perse and I wore at least one JP item per day (if not the majority of my outfit). Then I introduced my husband to the world of Perse luxe basics and he was hooked. This meant that when we dressed in the morning we'd have to be very careful to avoid looking like a couple that walked out of a James Perse lookbook.
