That means most of it is easy to care for and can be safely washed by hand or gently by machine. The chiffons can hang to dry and they dry very quickly! The velvets can be dried by machine with a fabric softener sheet and you will love how they feel! Please be aware that any tattered edges and other signs of being worn while sleeping under brambles are intentional because...have you ever seen a faery with a hem?

I think this dress is just genious and beautiful. I had to look at the large image up-close until I figured out what this was made from. Maybe add a few sparkling crystals/silver sequins and this would kill on the prom dance floor. Made from discarded stockings.

A great sleek shirt that adds a bit of flavor to the average tee. This tee has our delicate word print over the pocket adding a bit of depth. This is 100% cotton and machine washable! Just like all our shirts this one was thoughtfully made sweatshop free!

T-shirts and clothing in general are an artistic medium like any other that you can work on to display and communicate ideas. When I started the 102porciento brand with Martín the idea was having fun and doing t-shirts in small runs painting directly on them and silkscreen printing them in very limited quantities to diferentiate ourselves from big brands. After that we experimented with other techniques because everyone uses silkcreen printing for t-shirts so we started sewing stuff or mixing techniques

Paper dresses were all the rage in the late sixties as the American "throw-away" society emerged. The Pop Art ideal of merging common culture with fine art was expressed in disposable clothing that was in high demand. Paisley and op-art designs (including Andy Warhol's soup cans), giant eyes and political advertisement adorned these A-line dresses. They were sold in high-end boutiques as well as stationery shops (where you could pick up a tablecloth to match). Although the mass-produced paper dress fad soon ended, the idea has inspired many artists since to create one-of-a-kind original apparel from contemporary fabric alternatives. Last year, a paper reproduction of Jacqueline Bouvier's wedding gown was unveiled at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston.

The French Quarter Collection is inspired by the rich history and culture of New Orleans. Luxurious patterns in shades of tangerine, sage and robin's egg blue recall wrought iron balustrades and ornate fleur-de-lys. Capri Rose will dontate ten percent of all proceeds to The Green Project, a New Orleans based charity.

  • This is a dress that I made. It was a t-shirt surgery. It has ruffels on the bottom, a tube style top and white straps with Black polk-a-dots. Customed for Katarina to wear to Warped Tour~

The overall impression is—as we've come to expect from the London fashion scene—both sufficiently bold and streetwise. So, it's no surprise that both designers claim they can't live without their skinny black jeans, a London staple and, of course, another relic of the '80s.

If you've never owned a pair of jeans from Megan of Creative Outlet Designs then you are MISSING out! These came in the mail today and I didn't waste a second throwing them on Madeline. These have to be my most favoritest pair of jeans for her. This is another awesome trade that worked out perfect! Megan needed a website to sell her funky designs from and I NEEDED a pair of those jeans. So, we worked out a little deal ;) Megan asked what theme or colors I'd like for the jeans and I told her to just suprise us. She MORE than suprised us! These jeans are the BEST! Thank you Megan!!!!

Men's t-shirt created by indie designers

  • Fukushima moved to Toronto to study fashion at Ryerson University and soon her line was carried at local downtown boutiques. Expanding into clothing, she sourced second hand t-shirts and turned them into funky, eclectic tank tops. Paper People has since evolved to include eco-friendly options such as bamboo, hemp and organic cotton garments. The line blends colour, texture and pattern for a DIY, handmade appeal.

  • I make these garments using old t-shirts and t-shirt scraps. They're a lot of fun and look even better after a few washings. I started out doing them only in black (hence the name black widow) but they look awesome in colours too.

Lovely one of a kind tank top that I made from scratch using stretchy red and black cotton knit material. The top has a longer fit, and is silk-screened with my guitar print in silver metallic paint. I added super long and skinny shoulder ties that you can let dangle down your back or tie into a big bow!
