With the Bollywood diva, Sridevi sending Ram Gopal Verma a legal notice in reference to the title of his upcoming film, all eyes were on RGV. Sources have revealed that RGV has now released a press note to respond to the actress with regard to his stand and why he chose the actress’ name for his upcoming movie. The director has made it very clear in the press note that his movie has nothing in common with the actress. He stated that while he agrees that he has been very vocal about his admiration for the actress from his college days, his upcoming movie has nothing to do with the actress as it is about a teenager’s infatuation for an older lady. This, he said is far from any reference to his own admiration for the actress. He added that the film’s title was changed to Sridevi from Savitri not to avoid protests but because the prior title was already registered. He concluded with his stand to continue the present title as he added that he was not morally or legally obliged to change it. Will he be really able to do so?
