These design classics are superb gifts, fun for parties, and look great on display. Glass artisans carefully cut away the base, polish the edges and then bond a base to the bottom for a gloriously green, satisfyingly sturdy goblet. Recycling and reusing glass reduces the amount of rubbish that goes into landfill, and means that less sand has to be quarried, conserving our countryside and using less energy - Recycling one bottle saves enough energy to power a TV for an hour and a half. No acid etching is used, and because the bottle is not melted down these glasses are 90% more energy efficient than normal recycled glass Packaged in cardboard boxes of 2 glasses.
