Lene Frantzen b. 1961, Danish Textile Designer. SLICE is a series of cushions, pads and place mats made from felt, using a specially developed technique. The SLICE is a pad for chairs and benches, made from dyed wool, which has been rolled up, fulled and subsequently sliced. This technique produces a series of interesting patterns resembling the annual rings of a tree-trunk.

Wool is dirt repellent and the cushions should hardly ever be cleaned - especially not machine-washed. In case of stains try first with a little water. Wait till the water has dissolved the stain and press with a dry cloth. The cushion can also be douched lightly in running water. Press out the water, do not wring. The cushion should be left to dry in a well-aired place

Asger Kristensen is the artist who produced Natskal -- "Natskallen" -- products hand thrown thinly of English stoneware clay. Havlit stentøj is founded 1985 by the potters/ceramists Inga Vestergaard Sørensen and Asger Kristensen. Both potters/ceramists graduated 1984 from Designskolen i Kolding (Kolding School of Design). They set up their workshop and gallery in the barn and stable of an old farm. Their production consists of: Short series of articles for everyday use in stoneware and porcelain. Individually designed unique pieces. Their ceramic art is clearly inspired by the open skies and colours of western Jutland.
