My work is witty and engaging; my jewellery particularly brings a breath of fresh air to personal adornment with its openness to the gender of who might wear the work. But there is also a sting in the tail with most of my pieces as I strive to questions our traditional cultural values. This thinking is not dissimilar to that of DADA-the anti-art movement, which flourished earlier in the century.

"A fine hat it is... feels kind of... fibers-ish. But rather than send it up to the cosmos, why not put it on your head? The nubs are soft, and will protect your head in case any strange objects happen to hit you in those particular spots. Its non-figurative designs and daring colors were inspired by emerging post-war modern artists. Renowned designer Maija Isola created many of the most recognizable patterns, including the ubiquitous Kivet, a series of bold dots. Less shocking today, these basic shapes and simplicity of color create timeless appeal.
