    SYMBIO is a series of handmade, white porcelain brooches featuring stringent, graphic ornamentation. Each brooch is elegantly unique, created by bringing together a number of softly-shaped, organic porcelain arms that reach for space or fold over like geometric ornaments. The brooches are individually decorated and are reminiscent of exotic spiders, sea anemones, and corals from the bottom of the ocean.

    b. 1970, Swedish Glass- and Ceramic Designer. WOODY is a series of printed vases made of cast porcelain. Their simple white surfaces are decorated with black silhouettes of plants and animals. Inside, the WOODY vases are glazed a delicate shade of pink or green. The porcelain vases are created to hold a single flower or a small bouquet. The vases come with three different motifs; a hare, an owl or fungi. They measure 8 x 3,5 cm

    b. 1968, Danish Textile Designer, MDD. RUBBER VASE was inspired by the ornamentation associated with old lace, and is cast from silicone rubber, which apart from being an alternative material to ceramics is meant to surprise by its softness while creating a more modern notion of the use of ornamentation in the home. The vase is available in white and measures 6 x 12 x 14cm.

    a series of large building blocks created for an interactive exhibition aimed at children and young people. The sculptural blocks are made to resemble stylised but recognizable pictograms, stackable both ways. The PICTO blocks can be used to write a story, say MAN and WOMAN live in HOUSE with DOG and BABY.     b. 1968, Danish Industrial Designer. Carpet produced from birchwood veneer. Volf’s veneer carpet was inspired by classical wool and cotton carpets that have been developed through the centuries in different cultures throughout the world. Although the veneer carpet takes its cue from these classical carpets it is still entirely different in that it brings “a piece of nature” to modern homes.

    Lene Frantzen b. 1961, Danish Textile Designer. SLICE is a series of cushions, pads and place mats made from felt, using a specially developed technique. The SLICE is a pad for chairs and benches, made from dyed wool, which has been rolled up, fulled and subsequently sliced. This technique produces a series of interesting patterns resembling the annual rings of a tree-trunk.

    b. 1960, Danish Textile Designer Kvaster is a series of huge, sculptural pompons. The pompons are made of wool, and Fagerlund has used the classical technique of wrapping thread around two cardboard rings, whose circumference defines that of the finished pompon. The spherical pompons are available in two sizes, 60 and 40 cm in diameter, and come in bright orange, green and pink. They can be used as sculptures, for a quick rest, or as pillows in a sofa.

    b. 1967, Danish Silversmith Pendant and earrings A pendant made of silver, silk thread and felt. The ornament is shaped like an assemblage of little circles; to suspend it, a silk thread has been drawn through two of these circles and secured with felt balls at either end. This simple and elegant pendant comes in three different colours. Dreyer also presents a series of earrings utilizing the same silver- and enamel circles.

    b. 1967, Danish Designer. is a series of bracelets made from silicone discs and nylon press studs. The colour schemes are monochromatic black, white and red, and they come in two sizes: small and medium. Her other jewellery is also available in a Knotenkette version, consisting of either dyed nylon thread and press studs or nylon thread and paper tags.

    B. 1964, DANISH GOLDSMITH. The brooch series EX-Hibiscus and EX-Marguerite are made of silver. The jewellery is punched and decorated with marine paint in orange and red. The brooches are fastened with a visible needle in platinum that traces the fine round shape of the brooch creating a light clockwork-like appearance. The brooches measure 5.5 x 6 cm in diameter with a thickness of 1 mm.

    B. 1963, DANISH FURNITURE DESIGNER, MDD. The Rockable is a stool in wood. The prototype was launched at the exhibition, Planken Ud I in 1999, where all participants had to create a piece of furniture for sitting on from a plank measuring 3 x 10 x 120 inches. The Rockable is made out of 37 rods fastened to a round foot. The 37 rods are finished off at one end with rounded knobs that constitute the seat of the stool. The stool has a fine cur-ved form and is flexible.

All the bowls are hand-modelled and by virtue of this technique, they gain an organic expression that strongly contrasts with the geo-metric decoration of the series.     Ane Lykke b. 1967, Danish Textile Designer MDD. FRAGMENTS is a series of paper placemats featuring punched-out patterns. They are all segments of the same pattern design, with references to bindings and punch card patterns, the underlying foundation of woven textiles. The placemats are best suited for one-time use. The initial idea was to create a product which allows the user to define possible uses. The normally fleeting nature of a laid table is imbued with a personal touch.

    CERAMIC BOXES are cast in white stoneware and decorated with serigraphic transfers, designed to be at once decorative and functional. The boxes come in two different shapes, oblong and pill-shaped, or round. They can be used as vases or to hold little secrets. The decoration might be a funny laundry instruction, a photomontage, plants, or simple, stringently graphic motifs.

    Groove is a functional pouffe with a sculptural form that creates a good resting position for your legs. The pouffe is made of vegetable tanned aniline leather with reliefs made with an old gold plating press. Groove is produced in the per-sonal workshop in various colour combinations. It comes in two sizes with a STYROPOR¨ filling that imbues it with a vibrant plastic expression.

    B. 1964 DANISH TEXTILE DESIGNER. A series of home furnishings. Cushions, coffee- and tea cosies are hand printed and made of panama woven pale canvas in 100% cotton, whilst the table cloths are hand printed on linen woven cotton. The hand printed cushions come with a feather filled pad and measure 40 x 70 cm. The series is presented in clear light colours with bits of abstract leaf and flower ornamentation.

    Unique and unusual necklace inspired by ‘bootlace’ or ‘teddy-boy’ ties. The necklace consists of a porcelain ornament with holes and two leather strings that go through the ornament to hold it in place. The necklaces are hand-made. Each individual ornament is drawn up in liquid porcelain, so no two necklaces are alike.     GRASS VASES (Grøftekanter) is a series of sculptural one-off glazed stoneware vases. The vase was initially conceived for an exhibition at the Danish Design Centre where a number of young designers supplied their ideas for the museum‘s Café Dansk. Claydies opted to bring Danish roadside flowers indoors in the shape of a subtle vase.

    B. 1963, DANISH FASHION DESIGNER. The shawl Wrap is a functional piece of clothing that can be worn as a shawl, a bed jacket, a cardigan or a skirt. It’s made in a light wool knit, where two holes have been cut to create armholes. You wear the shawl as a blouse and drape the additional material around your body and fasten it with a decorative safety pin that comes with the shawl. Wrap comes in several colours.
