Stunning vintage mid-1950’s cocktail dress is an import adaptation of an Alberto Fabiani design made by Puritan Forever Young. Fabiani is still considered one of Italy’s best designers from the 1950’s and 60’s. This dress is fashioned from vibrant royal blue rayon velvet. The wide bateau neckline has a notch at the front left that is edged with boning to support the shape. There is a draped sash at the left side waist. The narrow belt slips through the loop of the sash. The sleeves are cut-in-one with the body of the dress. There is a center back metal zipper and the dress is unlined. Original price – $145.00.
