Incredible vintage 1950s full skirted shirtwaist dress by Serbin is fashioned from cotton chambray in a denim blue and white stripe. The back of the bodice is intricately pieced from 6 pie shaped wedges to form a hexagon that looks like a spider web. Look how perfectly the stripes are matched!!! The full skirt is lightly gathered at the front and has deep pleats at the sides and back. Pockets are hidden in the pleats at the hips. The dress closes all the way down the front with purple plastic ball butons. Unlined. Note: We’ve shown this dress over a full crinoline which is not included.

Charming vintage late 1940’s day dress by Sorority is perfect for the heat of summer. This dress is fashioned from a lightweight cotton dimity in white with woven-in pink and green roses in stripes. You’ll probably want to wear a slip with this dress. Vertical tucks are sewn into the fabric on either side of the button front. This gives visual interest to the dress, and a bit of fullness to the skirt below the hips where the tucks stop. The dress closes from collar to hem with self-fabric buttons. Note: We love the look of this dress belted, but the belt shown is not included.
